Dining is just a step away at The Lock Keepers restaurant, where you can enjoy comforting traditional British dishes with a modern twist. The menu includes a delightful range from expertly seared steaks and scrumptious sandwiches to light bites, leisurely lunches, and indulgent puddings.
Located in the village of Over, The Mooring Post is less than a mile from the center of Gloucester, with the charming spa town of Cheltenham just a short drive away at under 10 miles. The picturesque towns of the Cotswolds are reachable in as little as 35 minutes, and if you're in the mood for nature, the breathtaking Forest of Dean is a quick 20-minute journey.
Please be aware the property in unmanned from 6pm Sunday, and on Mondays.
The restaurant is also closed Sunday evening and Monday so no food or breakfast is available.
Access to the accommodation is always possible via key code, this will be emailed to you prior to arrival if you are arriving after 5pm on Sundays, or on a Monday.
When travelling with dogs, please note that an extra charge of GBP 12 per dog per stay applies.
