An exceptional stay in a suburban setting surrounded by beautiful countryside, yet the city center was only about a 10-minute drive away. The hotel was excellent value, the staff were friendly, and everything was clean. We happened to arrive after someone had canceled a whole-house ... at the last minute, so there were no other guests and the three of us ended up with the entire place to ourselves, but the owner and owner’s wife still welcomed us warmly. Breakfast was plentiful, with fan tuan-style egg pancakes, three steamed buns, sesame flatbread with scallion egg, and a pot of homemade peanut soy milk that was rich and delicious.
