Winter is the cheapest time, in February, when rates drop about 37 percent below the yearly average. The priciest is August, at the height of the beach season, when prices can jump by more than 30 percent. Spring and autumn bring mild weather and lower rates, plus festivals such as the spring Tangier Jazz Festival. The arrival day matters too: Wednesday is the cheapest, and the end and the start of the week the most expensive.
