The house was a beautifully restored early 20th century traditional Kinmen Min Nan house with an inner courtyard and modern amenities like air conditioning and Japanese style toilets with bidet functions. The breakfast was locally sourced Chinese food served daily with explanations of each item, including noodles and scallion pancakes that were very tasty.
