We stayed at a big but well-managed family home that felt like old Ubud, with a nice garden and temple right in the center but on a quiet street. The new buildings kept some old Ubud charm, making it a great spot to relax, meet other travelers, and explore the town. They also had laundry, water bubblers, breakfast, and tourist services, plus they tried to separate rubbish and use energy-saving lights.
