Where a stay is cheaper and where it costs more

Most people look for a room in the very centre, on Piotrkowska Street, since from here you can walk to the restaurants, cafés and most of the sights. This area also has the widest choice of hotels and apartments. The Manufaktura area is very popular too, with a former factory full of shops, museums and restaurants and modern hotels around it. It is atmospheric and often cheaper around OFF Piotrkowska, in former works turned into bars and lofts. Trams and buses run conveniently across the city, while Piotrkowska itself is walked on foot.
