The apartment was cozy, spacious, and spotless with a well-equipped kitchen, washing machine, and ironing facilities. The host Tahir was very friendly, helpful, spoke perfect English, gave great recommendations where to eat, respected boundaries as a solo Muslim female traveler, helped with luggage, let extend the stay by another night and even bought a fridge magnet as souvenir. The location was perfect in the heart of Baku’s Old City near cobblestone streets and landmarks within 3 to 5 minutes walking distance to Nizami Street and the national park.
