Hotels in Kaş: prices and when to book
Kaş is a charming seaside town on the Turkish Riviera, in Antalya province, known for its Lycian rock tombs carved into the cliffs, its harbour and narrow whitewashed streets full of restaurants. It is one of the best diving bases in Turkey, with boat trips to the sunken city of Kekova. The choice splits between the lively town centre by the harbour and the quieter Çukurbağ Peninsula with its boutique hotels. We have gathered 628 properties, and below we show what a room really costs, when it is cheapest and where to stay.
When to book for the best price
The Kaş season runs from April to October, and the peak falls in July and August, when the town is at its hottest and busiest. May is also on the pricier side, at the start of the diving season. It is cheapest in late autumn and winter, especially in November, when rates can drop by around half. Lower prices usually come with stays starting on a Sunday, while Fridays work out most expensive. Most guests stay 3 to 5 days. Indicative prices are in the table below.

Which hotel suits whom in Kaş
- Divers and water-sports fans. Kaş is one of Turkey's top diving spots, with centres such as the Sirena Diving Center and boat trips to wrecks and the sunken city of Kekova. A hotel in the centre, near the harbour, makes early departures easy.
- Couples. The Çukurbağ Peninsula offers boutique hotels with private swimming platforms and sea views. End the evening with a meze dinner by the harbour and a walk to the ancient Antiphellos amphitheatre at sunset.
- Families. Akçagerme Beach has a shallow entry to the water and facilities, and boat trips to Kekova are a treat for children. Properties on the peninsula give more space away from the busy centre.
- Sightseeing from a base in the centre. Staying by the harbour puts you within a walk of the Lycian tombs, the restaurants and the daily boat departures, and you can reach nearby beaches and ruins by local minibus.

When Kaş gets more expensive
Prices climb in the summer season, from June to September, when the weather suits diving and swimming and the town comes alive with the Kaş Festival, its music and local food. In early spring and late autumn it is quieter, and rates are the lowest of the year, which suits divers and travellers after peace with a view over the Mediterranean.
