The Helaina is a 5-minute walk from Scarborough’s beaches, harbour and town centre. With free WiFi throughout, this award-winning bed and breakfast offers views across the North Bay and is a short drive away from the vast North York Moors National Park.

A wide breakfast menu is served at The Helaina, with full English and vegetarian options, and a continental selection including pastries, fruit and herbal teas and fresh cafetiere coffee. Freshly baked bread, omelettes and smoked salmon bagels are all part of the extensive choice.

Rooms are stylishly decorated with warm, rich colours, have en suite bathrooms, and many enjoy sea views. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and cookies are supplied in all rooms, as are bath robes, toiletries, a hairdryer and alarm clock.

The seafront location is close to a variety of Scarborough restaurants, bars and shops. A historic harbour and cliff-top walks are among the town’s other attractions.

There is lots of on-street parking outside and all around The Helaina. There is a small charge for parking permits.

The deluxe rooms have a large bay window with 2 armchairs where guests can enjoy the panoramic sea views. The king sized bed has a 1000 pocket sprung mattress. These rooms are located on 1st and 2nd floors and are accessed via the stairs.

There is an open plan private kitchen and lounge which features a 50 inch Smart Flat-Screen TV and gas fire. There are wood floors throughout the property. Bedroom one has a king size bed and the second bedroom has a bunk bed. This apartment is located in the basement and therefore does not have views. It is next door to the main B&B.
