Sveggvika Guesthouse Averoy

Located in a quiet oceanfront area on the island of Averøy, this former Bacalao (salt modified and dried cod) factory has been restored into a rustic guesthouse. The brightly decorated studio apartments tell you the ancient history of the building. The rooms come with views of the Atlantic Ocean from French balconies. Kristiansund town center is 10km away. The Atlantic Ocean Road is 25km away.

Breakfast service daily from May 1st to September 30th. A continental buffet breakfast is included in the price for these dates. Our restaurant is also open Tuesdays-Sundays (closed on Mondays). Send us a message prior to arrival regarding dinner options.

Our restaurant offers a three-course menu with a selection of local flavors that reflect the rich culinary heritage of our region. It is also possible to have something else than a full 3-course dinner. Averøys location secures ingredients from the sea and agriculture that are world-class. Dinner is served at 19:00 and is pre-ordered either by phone, at the time of booking or check-in. Don't forget to tell us about allergies.

Start the experience with a selection of ingredients from the sea that surrounds us. Alternatively, you can choose a selection of cured meats.

Reservations are recommended and we suggest booking a table no later than 7:00pm.
