Spion Kop Lodge Winterton

Spion Kop Lodge is set on a 700 hectare farm, just 15 km north of Winterton. It borders the Spion Kop Nature Reserve and is situated close to historic battlefields.

The double rooms are situated at the original homestead, and each room comes with a patio and en-suite bathroom. The self-catering units are equipped with kitchen and BBQ facilities.

The original barn has been converted into a reception area, dining room and a pub. Other facilities include a conference room and an outdoor pool.

Guests can book guided tours to explore historic battlefields, Mount Alice and the campsite where Winston Churchill stayed during the Anglo-Boer War. Other activities offered include game drives, horseback riding and bird watching.

Spion Kop Lodge is 30 minutes, drive away from Ladysmith.
