Personal muy amable, sobre todo Muriuki, que se encargó de organizar desayunos tempranos, almuerzos para llevar y cenas tarde, además de mantener el fuego siempre encendido por las noches. El lugar resultó muy tranquilo, con jardines bonitos y bancos repartidos para sentarse en silencio. Al final había un río y una terraza exterior con chimenea abierta. Las cabañas tenían verandas y la zona de la piscina era agradable. La ubicación estaba justo a un lado de la carretera Nairobi-Nanyuki y a 10 minutos del aeródromo de Nanyuki.
