The host was very hospitable and accommodated early arrival at her home, and her daughters were friendly. The apartment had a fridge, microwave, working water dispenser, cooking stove, kitchen utensils, WiFi, TV, self-contained bathroom with hot water issues requiring boiling water for showers, balcony, small desk and ceiling fan. The location was in an urban area of Mombasa with some noise but good communication with the landlord.
