The directions were a bit off, and at first, we thought the area from the train looked rough and dirty, but it wasn’t like that at all. Once we found the apartment tucked away in a great cul-de-sac, it was just a short walk to all the tourist spots like the Roman amphitheater, and we loved wandering past all the artisanal shops with woodwork, leather, and furniture restoration-it really felt like a hidden gem.
