Lindeth Howe – What to Know
Once owned by children's author Beatrix Potter, Lindeth Howe country house hotel is set in beautiful large gardens, just a 5-minute walk from the banks of Lake Windermere. Locally sourced produce is served on the seasonal English menu in the Award Winning-awarded Lindeth Howe Restaurant.
Homemade cakes and scones are also served in the Lindeth Howe Restaurant with fresh tea or coffee. Overlooking the gardens is Lindeth Howe's lounge areas, which has garden doors that lead onto a terrace. Guests will find lots of comfortuble seating in the sitting rooms.
