The location was great, right in the centre of Funchal with easy walks to the front and bus stops, plus tours picked us up just two minutes from the cathedral. The room and bathroom were well laid out with a comfy bed and a good-sized wardrobe, and the hosts were really helpful, letting us keep our bags on the last day. Check-in was simple, the cocktail bar next door was a nice touch, and the place had handy facilities like a fridge, small freezer, and plenty of kitchen stuff.
