The hotel, centrally located, is a 5-minute walk from the city center, the tourist information office and the spa gardens. There are several restaurants, ice cream parlors, hairdressers, pharmacies and other shops within walking distance. The train station is 2.8 km away, and the nearest bus stop is 80 m from the hotel.

The hotel has several double rooms and apartments, a triple room, a breakfast room and a small leisure/party room. The hotel rooms are individually, comfortably and partly themed. The facilities include a flat-screen TV with cable connection, free WiFi and a separate bathroom with shower and toilet. Additional facilities in the apartments include a small kitchen and a balcony with a view of the Uffe. Extra beds are sometimes possible (by prior arrangement). The access road is on the right-hand side of the building (no driveway), here you will find the hotel entrance (with bell) and the terrace with smoking area. Free parking is available in the adjacent public streets, reservations are not possible for this. Motorcyclists can park their vehicles at the front of the building or at the back/garage entrance behind the building (arrangement required). A limited number of bicycles can be parked there (arrangement required). Shuttle service to and from Bad Sachsa train station is available at times.

The hotel is the starting point for a wide range of activities. In town you can discover the Salztal Paradies adventure pool, Clip'n Climb Harz, the Naturzeitmuseum, the Harzer Kerzenwerkstatt, the Harzfalkenhof Zoo, the Ravensberg and much more. There is much more to experience outside of town. City tours, natural monuments, monasteries, museums, parks, dams, summer/winter toboggan runs, cable cars, mines, the Brocken and of course the Harzturm Torfhaus and Titan RT Harzdrenalin.
