Staying with Anushka and his family was a highlight of our trip-they welcomed us with coffee, cake, and beer, and made sure we were well looked after the whole time. We loved the tasty dinners they cooked, the birthday cake they made, and hanging out on the elevated deck watching fireflies, Anushka shared great stories about Sri Lanka and helped organize our day trips, making the basic but comfy accommodation feel just right.
