The price depends on the standard, the place and the dates. The table shows indicative nightly rates for a double room. The cheapest months are usually October and November, while March is the priciest. A Saturday booking is often cheaper than midweek. Luxury beach resorts cost many times more.

The accommodation is concentrated around the capital, Grand Anse beach and the smaller island of Carriacou. These are the destinations travellers choose most often:
Nightly rates vary between places. Here are indicative prices per night for a double room:
| Place | Indicative price per night (from) |
|---|---|
| St. George's | from approx. $130 |
| Grand Anse | from approx. $200 |
| Lance aux Épines | from approx. $160 |
| Carriacou | from approx. $80 |
| Grenville | from approx. $90 |

Beyond the room, daily costs are moderate. Dinner at a standard restaurant is about $28. Cards work in hotels and most restaurants, but cash is handy at markets and with small vendors. A minibus ride costs next to nothing, and car rental starts at about $47 per day.
The best time is the dry season, from December to May, when it is easier to avoid tropical rain. Temperatures stay around 30°C all year. October and November tend to be the cheapest and March the most expensive. The Caribbean hurricane season falls in late summer and early autumn.
International flights land at Maurice Bishop airport, with direct routes from New York, London and Toronto among others, served by British Airways, American Airlines, JetBlue and Virgin Atlantic. Regional carriers such as LIAT and Caribbean Airlines link the island with Barbados and Trinidad. Minibuses run across the main island on nine routes from morning to evening for very little. Ferries connect Grenada with Carriacou and Petite Martinique, and SVG Air flights shorten the trip to the smaller islands. A rental car drives on the left, and inland roads can be steep.
A few recognisable properties for reference:
