When is the best time to visit Anguilla

The best time is December to May, outside the hurricane season that runs from June to November. At the peak of the season, especially February, prices are highest. September tends to be the cheapest month, but it falls in the middle of the hurricane season. Outside the peak it is easier to find lower rates.

Getting to and around Anguilla

The only airport has direct flights from San Juan in Puerto Rico and from nearby Sint Maarten. Most travellers fly into Sint Maarten and take the ferry from Marigot to Blowing Point on Anguilla, a crossing of about 30 minutes that runs every 45 minutes or so. There are no buses or trains on the island, and taxis with fixed fares across ten zones are the only option. Driving is on the left, and a local permit from the rental company is needed.
