We stopped here to eat and drink and really enjoyed it. The rooms are unique, built on a steep hillside with amazing views of the wooded south bank of the Douro, and there’s a nice plunge pool plus a bigger pool with comfy loungers. The Riverside bistro Sirga had an excellent menu and a great vibe.
