About Cologin

Cologin’s chalets, lodges and private houses offer attractive self-catering accommodation in the Highlands, less than 3 miles from Oban on Scotland’s west coast. Surrounded by the green hills of picturesque Lerags Glen, there is free parking and a country pub on site.

All of the non-smoking properties on this family-run farm site have fully-fitted kitchens, a dining area and a living room with a flat-screen smart TV with Freeview channels. There is free WiFi throughout all our properties. There is also free wifi in the Barn Bar where you can bring your laptop, have a coffee and do what you need to but this will only be available during the Barns opening hours.

Cosy bedrooms are complemented by a bathroom with shower or bath. Towels and bed linen are supplied in the five-bedroom farmhouse, and bed linen is provided in the chalets and lodges.

In addition to The Barn Bar, the site has a children’s play area, fishing loch and lots of local walks from your door step.

Nearby Oban has become known as Scotland’s seafood capital, and is home to many restaurants, cafés and coffee shops. There are many small craft shops and some well-known stores, as well as ferry crossings to the Isle of Mull.

Cologin Farmhouse is the only property at Cologin with a private hot tub.

Important information
The Barn Bar is closed Tuesday and Wednesdays but open for lunches and dinners for the rest of the week. During the summer months guests can catch one of the impromptu sessions of folk music played by the locals on Sundays.

Pets are welcome at Cologin on request. Please note there is a surcharge of £5 per pet per night.

The Farmhouse is our only property on site with a private hot tub. None of our lodges have hot tubs.It is advised that you bring your own vehicle to Cologin, as the property is not served by public transport.
At Cologin, hen, stag, or similar parties are not accepted.

The location was great and quiet with beautiful surroundings, the cabin was clean, comfortable, and warm with everything needed for a self-catering stay. The hosts gave clear instructions on how to get there and local guidance. The dog-friendly onsite pub had good food and friendly staff.
