Erickson and his family were extremely friendly and helpful, with Maria cooking delicious homemade meals every evening at affordable prices. The cabins had small balconies facing the jungle, open swinging windows in the showers, and a shared large kitchen for preparing food. Wildlife such as toucans, macaws, capuchin monkeys, and howler monkeys were frequently seen around the property located about 5 km from Drake Bay with transfers organized by Erickson.
