Once an elegant 19th Century home, the "Lauriston" as it was called then was converted into a hotel in 1933. In 1950, the property recieved extensions and alterations and operated under the new name: "Cecil Court Hotel" - a name it still holds to this very day.
A 2-minute walk from the shops and bars of Poole Hill, Cecil Court Hotel offers accommodation in a central Bournemouth location. It has a bar, free Wi-Fi.

24-hour heating is not included in winter period rates and is controlled by an automated thermostat from 09:00 to 17:00, as well as 23:00 to 06:00. The heating will therefore be enabled to maintain average room temperature; an additional oil heater can be provided at the running cost of GBP 15 per day.
Alternatively, winter blankets are available free of charge from reception.
Please note that the building has no air conditioning. We do not provide room fans or summer bedding. Guests are welcome to bring their own.

The rooms were a good size and very clean. Location was central, close to all amenities. Staff checked in easily and were polite. Parking was available for three days without moving the car. Breakfast was good, near the beach.
