The garden was gorgeous with hummingbirds and a nice cat, the pool and spa were musts, and the bungalow had a jacuzzi that was well used despite the climate. Virginie and Alain were welcoming hosts who gave good advice without being intrusive, served excellent breakfasts and Creole plates with cocktails, and helped navigate around without a car. The location was perfect in nature near Basse-Terre with many points of interest less than an hour away by car.
